Accessibility statement

Our target

The website was designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we have done

• Semantic structure with landmarks, a correct heading hierarchy and a skip link to the content.
• Full keyboard use, with a visible focus indicator on every control.
• Text contrast measured for every colour combination.
• Alternative text on every photo and a text description for every video. The videos have no sound.
• A pause button on every video that plays by itself. If you have turned on reduced motion on your device, videos do not start on their own and motion effects are switched off.
• Text that zooms to 200% and a layout that reflows to 320-pixel-wide screens without horizontal scrolling.
• The correct language declared on every page, so screen readers pronounce Greek and English properly.

Known limitations

• Links to Google Maps and Instagram lead to third-party services whose accessibility we do not control.
• The pergola technical drawings are images; their content is described in the alternative text and caption.
